The Leads pipeline

Updated October 30, 2026

Paid feature — Basic and Pro.

Insights → Leads is where captured contact details land: from the pre-chat form, from the offline message form, from a flow, and from AI lead capture when the assistant persuades someone to share them mid-conversation.

What's on a lead?

  • Email, phone, and the intent the assistant inferred.
  • The message and the full transcript of the conversation that produced it — so whoever picks it up knows what was already said and promised.
  • The browsing context.
  • A status: New → Contacted → Qualified → Won / Lost.
  • An assignee.
  • Sent to — which of your other tools it was pushed to.
  • An activity history.

How should we work the list?

Keep statuses honest and the list stays useful; let everything sit on New and it becomes a graveyard. Assign an owner at the point of first contact, not later.

The transcript is the part people forget to read, and it's the part that closes deals — the visitor has already told you what they want, in their own words.

Can leads go into our CRM automatically?

Yes. HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Excel Online, or any webhook (which means Zapier, Make, and n8n too). See Routing leads to your other tools.

Where do I control what the assistant asks for?

Two places:

  • Settings → Widget → Pre-Chat Form Fields — which of name, email, phone, and initial message are visible and required before a chat starts. See Widget appearance.
  • Settings → AI & Engagement → AI lead capture — the sales goal the assistant pursues in conversation. See AI lead capture.
